Residential Treatment for Children
Hermitage Hall offers two programs for young children who are exhibiting emotional distress and behavioral issues as a result of trauma, sexual abuse and more. These programs help boys and girls address sexually-reactive behaviors and find new ways to channel their emotional problems and develop new ways to cope. Our trauma-informed approach to treatment allows us to take in each child’s full history as our staff of psychiatrists, nurses, doctors, and educators put together an individualized treatment plan for them. We include a wide range of therapy modalities, including age-appropriate play therapy, recreation therapy, and more. We want each child to leave Hermitage Hall with new skills, a new outlook, and a renewed sense of self that will lead to improved outcomes and behaviors at home, school, and in the community.
