We want to make sure that parents, guardians, and referring professionals have all the information they need before sending their child or patient to Hermitage Hall. Please find answers to the questions we get most often outlined below. If you have additional inquiries that are not covered here, please reach out to us for further guidance.
Visitation is scheduled every Saturday and Sunday from 11:00am until 4:00pm. Visitation sessions are 45 minutes. Visitation sessions are scheduled by our receptionist Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. We understand that there may be special circumstances or adjustments needed for visitation outside of the above stated timeframe. Those exceptions will need to be discussed and approved through your child’s assigned therapist.
Due to the nature of the treatment that we provide all our residents at Hermitage Hall, safety is our top priority. In keeping with this priority, all visitation rules will be strictly enforced. To prevent the entry of contraband, purses and bags are to remain in your vehicle. Personal items for residents will be placed behind the front desk to be inventoried. Cellphone use is not allowed during visitation, this includes FaceTime and taking/viewing photos.
While we welcome all approved visitors, guest under the age of 18 will not be permitted. Visitors that are not listed or approved will not be allowed to have contact with the resident. Please discuss visitation plans with your child’s therapist to ensure that expected guest are on the list. When visiting the facility, please arrive at your scheduled time, follow all visitation rules, and the Hermitage Hall dress code.
Outgoing phone calls can be made by residents Monday through Friday from 6–9 p.m. CST and throughout the day on Saturday and Sunday.
The admissions process typically takes about one to two hours, but our staff will work with you to make the process as easy as possible.
Our program is designed to be six to nine months. However, we create individualized treatment plans to meet the needs of each resident.
Hermitage Hall does not have a religious affiliation, but residents are welcome to worship as they please.
Yes, residents can earn off-campus day and overnight passes as they progress in their treatment.
All residents receive gym and recreation time daily. If the weather is nice, residents can go outside for recreation time. During poor weather, the residents have access to a full-size gymnasium and indoor recreation areas.
